I obtained my Master’s degree in general and clinical speech therapy from the Medical University of Warsaw. I specialise in myofunctional therapy, focused on muscle work within the masticatory system and orofacial functions, with particular emphasis on preparation for frenotomy (frenulum release) procedures and on cooperation with orthodontists.

I work mainly with patients who have speech sound disorders, breathe through the mouth, snore, or have bruxism, teeth clenching or temporomandibular joint complaints, as well as with those who are about to start orthodontic treatment, are undergoing it or have completed it. Thanks to training in myofunctional diagnosis and therapy, temporomandibular joint examination, frenulum work, early diagnosis in newborns and infants, and speech therapy massage, I combine the speech therapy perspective with elements of the physiotherapeutic and osteopathic approach.

Looking at the patient holistically allows me to see the relationships between the way they breathe, tongue position and muscle tension on the one hand, and the function of the masticatory system, the temporomandibular joints and sleep quality on the other. In therapy, I focus on the causes of difficulties rather than only on their symptoms, which enables me to achieve lasting and effective therapeutic results.

What can I say? Michał is the man for the tough jobs. I come to him rarely, but regularly, and have done for several years – he gets me out of hopeless situations and long-standing injuries (sprained ankles, bruxism, wrist overload). And his cheerfulness and commitment stay at the same high level :)
